Good afternoon. I apologize for my delay in getting this week's agenda up. My computer has crashed at home and we are hoping it will get taken care of soon.

This week the 6th graders will be taking the Ancient Rome test. We started the study guides today and they will be going home tomorrow. Please study with your child. There was a lot of information this time around and I don't want them feeling too overwhelmed. A half hour to an hour study session should do the trick.

In 7th grade, we are starting our unit on Africa. We will be learning about the geography of Central Africa first. We then will be diving into some important issues such as political corruption and "blood diamonds".

Good Evening. It will be a very light week this week due to the Iowa Assessments Testing that we will have this week. If you have any questions about these tests, please contact your child's AP teacher.

Here are a couple of helpful tips to do well on the test:

                        1. Get a good nights rest
                        2. Eat a good breakfast
                        3. Be confident taking the test

Again, if you have any questions please contact me or the school.
